Solidarität mit den serbischen AnarchosyndikalistInnen!/Solidarity with the serbian Anarcho-syndicalists!

Am 4. September 2009 wurde die Gruppe von 6 serbischen AnarchistInnen für zunächst dreißig Tage in Untersuchungshaft genommen. Ihnen soll ein Brandanschlag zugeordnet werden, der obendrein zu dem großen Wort “internationaler Terrorismus” aufgeblasen wird.

Mit der Anordnung der Untersuchungshaft folgte das Gericht in Belgrad der Entscheidung des zuständigen Untersuchungsrichters. Das Urteil führt aus, dass die Verdächtigen angeblich “am 25. August 2009 gegen 3 Uhr früh erst ein Graffiti an die Fassade malten und dann zwei Molotow-Cocktails auf die griechische Botschaft in Belgrad warfen.”

Die Gewerkschaftsföderation ASI (Anarchosyndikalistische Initiative), Sektion der IAA (Internationale ArbeiterInnen Assoziation), erfuhr von der Aktion gegen die griechische Botschaft und der Gruppe, die sie durchführte, aus den Medien.

Die ASI möchte darauf hinweisen, dass die Methoden des individuellen politischen Kampfes nicht die Methoden des Anarchosyndikalismus sind. Im Gegenteil äußert die ASI ihre politischen Positionen öffentlich und versucht durch ihre Arbeit die Massen an die syndikalistische Bewegung und andere libertäre und fortschrittliche Organisationen heranzuführen.

Die ASI betont, dass sie die Aktion der nun berühmten anarchistischen Gruppe “Crni Ilija” (schwarze Sonne) nicht befürwortet, dennoch weist sie darauf hin, dass das Geschehene nicht als Akt des „internationalen Terrorismus“ charakterisiert werden kann. Terrorismus beinhaltet per Definition die Gefährdung von ZivilistInnen, während bei dieser symbolischen Aktion niemand verletzt wurde und lediglich ein Materialschaden entstand.

Wegen der ungewöhnlichen Herangehensweise von Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft an diesen Fall werden die Inhaftierten verdächtigt, das Verbrechen des „internationalen Terrorismus“ begangen zu haben. Dieses Verbrechen wird im Strafrecht der Republik Serbien im selben Kapitel angeführt wie Völkermord und Kriegsverbrechen, Verbrechen gegen die Zivilbevölkerung, Organisierung und Aufruf zu Völkermord und Kriegsverbrechen, Entfesselung eines Angriffskrieges etc. Wegen der Schwere dieser Verbrechen belaufen sich die Kosten für die anwaltliche Vertretung in diesem Prozess bisher auf über 10.000 Euro.

On 04.09.2009, following the decision of the investigating judge of the District Court in Belgrade, the groups of six anarchists who were arrested 3rd of September 2009 were sentenced to detention measures up to thirty days. The charge states that the suspects , on 25th of August, about three o’clock in the morning, initially wrote the graffiti on the facade, and then threw two molotov cocktails at the building of the Greek Embassy in Belgrade.

Union Confederation “Anarcho-syndicalist Initiative” member of the “International Workers Association” found out about the attack on Greek embassy, and of the organisation that took the responsibility for this act, through media.

The ASI uses this opportunity to remind the public that these methods of individual political struggle are not methods of anarcho-syndicalism, quite the contrary – ASI proclaims their political positions publicly and through their work they seek to bring masses to the syndicalist movement and all the libertarian and progressive organisations.

Given the fact that we do not support the acts of now famous anarchist group “Crni Ilija” (Black Iliya) we still cannot characterise what happened as “international terrorism”, because terrorism, by definition, entails threats to the lives of civilians, whereas in this case no one was even hurt and only symbolic material damage was done.

Due to the unusual course of action of the police and prosecution in this case, the arrested are suspected of having committed a crime of “international terrorism”. That act, in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Serbia, is treated in the same group with the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes against the civilian population, organizing and encouraging to commit genocide and war crimes, the conduct of aggressive war, etc. Due to the legal weight of such characterization, the costs of the representation so far during the process have exceeded 10,000 euros.
